Hey! Emerald is an awesome and lovable person! She can easily hit if off with him, and she won't mind one bit about his clingy personality! However, if you need someone who will help him and his dependency, she can also help. She is firm, and will stop him from obsessing too much on things if she feels he needs it.

Yuuki&Lilith !!

Yuuki is a bit too cute for Lilith not to be mean to him. I can see him "hiring" (in-character only, no actual coin exchange) to guard him as he searches for a new plant/pokemon/material outside of one of the cities. Despite him being a year her senior, I can see her treating him like her junior by the way he acts. Lilith takes her job very seriously so when Yuuki decides to make an impulse decision and go deeper into the forest/woods/off the path/etc and finding themselves lost/hurt/trapped/what-have-you, she is going to go all out momma bear mode. While berating Yuuki for getting them in the trouble, she'll angrily find her way out of danger with Yuuki being dragged behind.

After they reach safety, Lilith will feel bad for tearing him a new one and make an awful attempt at an apology. It'll come off as harsh perhaps but maybe she can break down a little and admit her anger at the previous peril stemming from the recent death of her father? How their relationship progresses at this point I think could be dependent on how exactly the thread develops. Feel free to poke this apart or tell me no.

helping him become independent is always good. xP if anything, it'd just embarrass him since she's a lot younger than he is. they can also compare findings since yuuki dabbles in everything yet quite enjoys finding new mutations. and, as a geneticist (she's a young geneticist, goodness), they'll have something to talk about. xP

this sounds like a plan. xD he needs a mamma bear in his life, especially one who can manage to get him out of trouble. knowing him and his team, it might be him chasing after omurice (again) and ignoring the fact that he could just return her to her pokeball. or even chasing after the egg he doesn't know what to do with. too many eggs. but buneary will appreciate the help.

he's also horrible with scoldings, and he might burst into tears from not knowing what's going on. mother never scolded him 'cause he was a good boy. i can see this relationship being really strange yet hilarious because both of them won't know what to do with the other and other obvious reasons that get them into trouble. if you can get her to new pallet, we'll need to thread. <3

The mama's boy Yuuki and the motherly Ciel? Yeah, I think they could be close friends. c: Having taken care of those close to him for such a large portion of his life, it's pretty habitual for Ciel at this point. He wouldn't even notice it, himself, if he were to start fawning or fussing over a clumsy or reckless friend.

"Yuuki, I see that look. Don't do it. I don't care what is--- Yuuki, I said I don't care what it is. Don't do it."

"Ahh, Yuuki, don't touch that plant, it's---! ...Poisonous... Yes, I know it was pretty. The poisonous ones usually are."

"Oh... Okay, come sit down, Yuuki, I'll get the first aid kit."

If you haven't noticed, Ciel likes to use a person's name every time when addressing them. He finds it helps to focus their attention on what he's saying. :I Oh, and he could probably help out with that too-many-eggs problem, too. xD

y'know, yuuki's supposed to be learning this thing called independence and learning how to become a decent father because of his eggs. having mother bear friends is not going to help him one bit, and i support that entirely. he'd probably quickly get too used to being fussed over and fall into the motions of it, only to start doing things just to get the attention. kinda like how a six month old begins to fuss for attention because it knows the mother will come. hehe.

if ciel ever goes out into the field with yuuki, however, he will have his work cut out for him. it apparently takes violence (or a good smack on the head) for him to break out of his trance of omg new things must touch, but then he reverts back to how he was the moment he's given a chance.

Maybe Ciel will get a Pokemon that could help with that xD He'd never be able to smack someone so pitiful over the head, himself. Ciel would never catch on that he's just making things worse, either. xD The motherly instinct is too strong, MUST BABY THE PATHETIC MAN-CHILD. In that sense, Yuuki would seem like a cunning little devil, surrounding himself with mother bear friends in order to successfully separate himself from his real mother and feel like he's accomplished something when he really hasn't at all.

and ciel can just team up with buneary. the rabbit has become more of a babysitter than anything else, even if he's only sticking around because of omurice and the egg. yuuki can't be trusted alone with them. :I

Yeah, Ciel will do his best to keep Yuuki out of trouble, but he's incapable of using force, himself. xD He wouldn't mind if someone else handled that part, though.

Yuuki will get the hang of being independent, one day. Maybe.

Hey! She would be great for him then, and I bet it would lead to a funny thread! Also yes, she is! Though she only knows plants, and she doesn't really get the science of it; it's more like a passed-down hobby that she wants to make a career out of! It would be great for him to try and explain it to her!

So my first thought was that Jason and Tsukino Yuuki could be acquaintances or friends through profession; Jason is often a mercenary before he is a ranger, and maybe he could help Tsukino get through various areas or find a certain place or Pokemon, or go on errands for him into the wilds from time to time if he needed? But then I kind of started laughing at myself because I realized that Tsukino was in fact a man, and not a woman; and thought it might be funny for, at the beginning of their little relationship, for Jason to not entirely realize that he is in fact male as well. Like, gender isn't brought up because Jason assumes on first glance that Tsukino is a female, but is shocked later on to find out the opposite.
