Everyday Clothes:Yuuki is a very beautiful person despite the circumstances that have fallen upon everyone. Due to his mother's upbringing, or perhaps a chance of luck with genetics, Yuuki has an effeminate figure and facial structure. He sports virtually unblemished and smooth pale skin, the product of his mother trying out just about any concoction of substances she could on her children to find the perfect "facial cream." In the end, it was more just making sure the skin was clean and hydrated than anything else after what was left of the PokeEarthen facial cream was used up. You will, however, find small scars on his finger pads from sticking himself with needles on accident.
Long black hair frames his face and drapes over his shoulders, stretching down nearly to his hips. It is a mess to keep up with a lot of the time, and, if he doesn't want to deal with at least a good hour or two brushing through it each morning, he will simply put it up in a ponytail or a sloppy bun. Accenting his raven hair and standing out against pale skin are his ruby red eyes, round and aware, soaking up the world like a sponge. Then again, he squints a lot.
Yuuki stands at only five feet and four inches. His weight is unknown, but he is very easy to pick up for anyone who has ever tried. He sometimes gets caught up in whatever he's obsessing over, and forgetting to eat because of that is often why he has remained so thin, perhaps a little too thin, for so long.
Formal Garbs:Being one to please his mother, he usually wears whatever she tells him to. However, since he has realized that he needs to become more independent, even if he still heavily relies on her without willing to admit it, he still wears the clothing she has made for him. This will often involve somewhat durable shirts and pants, cloaks or jackets, etc. The quality isn't the best in the world, and the colors are often bland unless she threw in a pop of brighter accent colors through various dyes or thread.
He is also supposed to wear glasses due to his poor eyesight; however, he usually opts for running into walls and trying to make out shapes until he actually needs them. He really does not like the thick frames resting on the bridge of his nose.
Pack:Originating from a more traditional area of Kanto, Yuuki has a brightly colored flowery kimono that his mother was able to make for him after she found suitable replacement materials. He tends to leave it at home where his mother can maintain it, and he often forgets whenever he might possibly need it until it is too late.
Personality:Going for durability, Yuuki has a worn brown bag made of leather with multiple pockets and storage areas. He can usually be seen with it slung over his right shoulder, and the right strap is a little more stretched than the left strap because of this.
Likes:If it wasn't already obvious, Yuuki is a bit of a mama's boy. He has been ever since he was small, and he allowed her to warp him into whatever she envisioned him being in the future. This is mainly where his fascination to knowledge comes from as she made sure he became a sharp man who was well educated. What she wasn't accounting for was his dependency towards her and anyone else he became close enough to. He ended up being the only child who didn't fly away from the nest at a more proper time like the others. This dependent nature of his will probably never change. Anyone who comes to know him will begin to notice the way he subconsciously inches closer to them when he's nervous, or they will begin to see just how often he will come to them for even the smallest of needs.
Yet, despite this, Yuuki is an adventurous man. He is fascinated by the unknown, and he is willing to get into the stickiest of situations just to learn more about anything. He has gotten himself stuck in trees before just because he wanted to study a feather left by a Pidgey high in the tree. Perhaps this makes him reckless--no, no, it does--to the point where he puts himself and those around him in danger, but his intentions are pure. He just has a tendency to become so tunnel minded in which he begins to forget about his own bodily care. This can be dangerous without someone there to set him back on the right path.
Another molding of his mother's doing caused Yuuki to be quiet and obedient, like a submissive dog who wants nothing more than to please their master. Whenever he is told to shut up, he closes his mouth and remains that way until he is given permission to speak again. He does whatever is told of him no matter who gives the order. The desire to please was originally meant specifically for his mother since she wanted him to be the 'perfect son,' but it has turned into one of his greatest downfalls. It has made him incredibly gullible to the point where he will follow even the strangest of leads. There's a rainbow mushroom in the forest over there? Sweet, let's go check it out! It's pitiable, really, but he figures it out sooner or later that he was fed nothing but lies. Well, he usually does. If he trusts the person, he will take their word as fact unless they tell him otherwise.

He doesn't remember much of his earlier childhood. The earliest memory he has is of his mother grabbing a suitcase, picking him up, and ushering her husband and three other children out the door before their home erupted with flames. After that, his memory is foggy, and he can barely make out anything. Then comes the memory as a young child when his father finished building a small house while construction went on around them. In his mind, these were happy times. His naive nature made everything out to be all fine and dandy; nothing was wrong. He did not notice the struggling neighbors, the awful, hacking cough his father had begun to emit. He only saw the light in the dark as he followed his mother around like a puppy.
As time went on he began to have as good of an education as his parents could give him. His mother had brought many books from their original home, and she taught him based on everything from cover to cover of the books. After he knew how to read and write, she even began to have him go off to see someone else more suited to educate him and his siblings. Right afterwards, he would head straight home as he was told never to talk to strangers, not to pet the furry creatures, and to keep his eyes straight ahead. Yet curious little Yuuki found himself getting sidetracked all the time, doing exactly what he was told not to do, and his mother would scold and punish him after he arrived home long after his siblings had.
She began to take over his life, keeping him home as much as possible and doing this and that to keep him beside her. He began to help her with her seamstress job, learning how to sew after a painful and rather bloody process of trial and error. This kept him with his mother for hours as he made his best attempt to keep her happy while working under her watchful eye. Whenever he made a mistake, he would weep, believing that his mother might scold him or say he cannot help her anymore. The closer he became with his mother, the more he began to cling to her and rely on her, and the more he began to fear her eventual rejection.
He was eleven when his father passed away one night. The autopsy revealed that he had lung cancer, yet no one could tell while he was still alive since they no longer had the technology needed for it. They simply thought that he had stubborn cold. The family took the loss harshly. His mother stopped working in order to mourn, and his siblings started to do the same. It was Yuuki who, closer to his mother than his father, mourned the least. He took on the household chores for the next few months, cleaning by stuffing things under furniture, scrubbing their dirty clothes in water without any sort of soap and then leaving the clothes to dry out a window, etc. Oh, and let us not forget the burnt meals during the first few weeks. He slowly figured out how to make a pretty mean meal of eggs and bacon, but he often opted for putting a bowl of cereal in front of his family.
His family soon began to recover once they noticed just how bad the eleven year old was at basic chores. His mother made sure to teach him the proper way of cleaning, laundry, and cooking soon after. It wasn't soon enough, however, and some of their clothes needed to be tossed. This got his mother back into the seamstress business as she began to make them new clothes. Their normal routine began to pick back up, and all seemed well.
As he grew older, his siblings began to move on to fulfill whatever dreams they had. His eldest brother went on to help with the exploration of their new world. One of his sisters was more interested in the shop keeping business. His other sister wanted to simply work behind a desk the rest of her life. And, Yuuki? He didn't know what he wanted to do. He wanted to remain with his mother, but he was already past the age of eighteen. He was already an adult. Upon consulting with--you guessed it--his mother, he took her advice to pursue his childish curiosity of the world. He decided he would become a researcher. There was plenty about their new world that no one understood or even knew about, and he wanted to be one of the first to figure out how everything ticked.
So, he began his studies with new enthusiasm. He worked towards pouring over all the known documents of the world. He studied as many books from their original planet as he could. The years began to pass, and he was still living with his mother. It was she who told him he needed to branch out rather than remaining at home the rest of his life.
So, he did what he was told.
