Hail to the Wings of Freedom!
Today was going to be a very important day for the life of Rein Falkenhart. For many years, he awaited his chance to meet with the woman that would become his mentor, and that was so famous she was known by the title of The Ambassador. As an explorer, the young man knew that, under her command, he would be able to make great advances in his objectives. "Anita Nguyen, eh...?" He said, standing in front of The Emissary, wondering how much his daily routine would change once he stepped in there. It would be a path full of dangers and challenges, but, if he did not falter and kept moving forward, there would be many rewards and glory as well. Entering the building, he observed the many wooden tables, and the other people that waited for something seated on them. Rein, though, had no time to lose. In the back of the room, there was a counter, in which an attendant awaited the come of the new recruits.
Moving towards it, Rein's eyes would have a prideful, but determined look. Yet, somehow, he felt nervous. For many years, he was prepared by his own family into things like discipline and obedience, and with this, he learned to deal with any orders given to him, as well as the basic of a strong leadership. But, the truth is that no theory can render you completely ready for the real thing. The Ambassador was not an ordinary person, he knew that. And precisely because of that, the young man worried about how he would be seen by her. Would he be well-accepted and praised because of his discipline? Would he be treated like "just one more"? Or, even worse, would he be completely rejected by the woman? Those questions were starting to make his head hurt, so he stopped and took a deep breath. He was a Falkenhart. He passed through too much to give up just now. He would unravel that world, every single bit of it, with his own hands. That's what it means to be an explorer, isn't it?
With a renewed courage, Rein standed there, in front of the attendant. The symbol of the Falkenhart family was shown is his clothes, the two wings of freedom that he seeked all this time. Without hesitation, he looked into the eyes of the person in front of him and introduced himself: "Rein Falkenhart, from the Falkenhart family. I have a meeting with The Ambassador." His eyes were now more confident and inspired. He would make it. He had to make it. For his family and this world's sake...he would become an explorer!
