June 30th, 9am Clear Skies, Not too hot yet
Pokemon: Deimos (Elekid, Lv. 1), Spike (Snubbull, Lv. 1) Feral eggie: 0/75 posts
This was it. Davros had gotten his items, his Pokemon, and a vague idea about instructions and a mission. Mr. R hadn't been extremely specific if he wanted Davros to do anything particular, but the big man just took it as a sign that he was free to do as he wished for the time being. That was good, it would allow him to explore a little bit and train up his two Pokemon. Maybe even capture something new that would help the citizens of the colony. That was the mission, after all. Wasn't it? He liked to think so.
Shrugging his shoulders, he rustled his pack a little bit and remembered that he had that egg on him. He found it by accident, actually, seeing it in the tall grass just beyond the border of New Pallet. He waited a while, but no momma Pokemon came and chased him off, so he wondered if it was abandoned. No use in letting it become food for some other Pokemon, and so the big man gingerly placed it in his pack and continued on his way. At least eggie would be warm in his pack.
Either way, if Mr. R needed something, he would text the mercenary and Davros could go from there. More importantly, Davros knew that he needed to see these Pokemon since there wasn't enough space in the office. Stepping onto the grass to the side of the road, the large man reached into his pocket and pulled out two poke balls, before pressing their buttons and throwing them up into the air. Almost instantaneously, two Pokemon appeared in beams of white light. A small, pink dog like Pokemon stood to one side, and a yellow Pokemon with black stripes stood to the right. Holding up his wrist just to make sure, the Holo Dex appeared and scanned, bringing up the appropriate information. Nodding that everything made sense, Davros addressed the two Pokemon.
"I am your trainer. My name is Davros. It is my goal to train you to become strong fighters and vicious, take no shit Pokemon. How does that sound?" he asked, crossing his arms and smiling. The two Pokemon looked to each other for a second, before they looked back at the supremely large man in front of them. Truthfully, they had never seen anyone so large before.
Silently, both nodded. They wanted to grow strong, who wouldn't? "Excellent. From this point forward, Snubbull, you are now called Spike. Elekid, you are now called Deimos. That is the only way I will address you from now on." The Elekid nodded, but the bulldog huffed and crossed his little arms. "Huff all you want, that is your name and you will answer to it," Davros said, sternly.
Fortunately for him, his Pokemon were young and had no basis to fight him. "Now, we need to cross this route to get to New Pallet. Once there, we can get the lay of the land and go from there. Maybe even explore some new places. We are also on the lookout for new Pokemon, so Spike, I'm relying on your nose." he said.
Sighing, the fairy Pokemon nodded and turned, sniffing in the wind to see if anything was close by.

Within moments, the Snubbull had successfully located a few Pokemon around the area. Further along the path was a single Bunnelby. It didn't seem to be doing anything of importance, unless you consider sniffing tiny weeds important that is. To Davros's 10 o'clock, there was a pair a orange gerbils that play-fought in the short grass. Finally, the their right was a rustling bush of four purple mice that were in the middle of their breakfast. The day was calm, the air was nice, and it seemed that for once, The Winding Path wouldn't be a danger. But Davros and his new party were sure to change that.

Pokemon: Deimos (Elekid, Lv. 1), Spike (Snubbull, Lv. 1) Feral eggie: 1/75 posts
Just as Davros had thought, the nose of the canine Pokemon was strong and within minutes Spike had led the trio to a nice open patch of land. Granted, all of the visible Pokemon were rodent types, but eh, what can you do. Holding his arm up, the Holograph on his wrist beeped to life and small three dimensional figures of the Pokemon out and about today came up. He cycled through them, reading the very sparse information that was available. Out of everything in the field, the only target that seemed worth it was the bunny. He needed to practice catching Pokemon, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
"Alright guys, huddle," the big man said, kneeling down.
"Here's the plan. Deimos, you sneak off into the vegetation and wait for Spike. Spike is going to approach the bunny and attempt to scare it. If the bunny scares and flees, you are going to use quick attack and slam into it. If you can knock it off balance, Spike can come in with an ice fang attack and chill the little fella down. At that point, we'll see if a capture is possible. Understand?" he said, looking from one to the other.
Both Pokemon nodded. "Good, Deimos, go," he said, as the electric Pokemon toddled off. "Ready Spike?" he asked, and the pup nodded.
Turning, the Snubbull approached the Bunnelby before he started barking, using his Intimidate to try and scare the mammal Pokemon.

The poor bunny played right into the trainer's massive hands. As Snubbull barked at the rodent, it hopped away from the party, although... it really didn't look as frightened as expected.
Deimos, of course, did as he was told and went for the Feral, but the Electric child was in for a bit of a surprise. Elekid came within a few inches of the bunny, and then tackled thin air. Wait, had it disappeared? The yellow Pokemon's eyes followed in slow motion frames as the bunny evaded his attack, ghostly images of the creature followed it for the seconds it moved. Oh my was it fast....
Bunnelby's countenance was oblivious, it almost seemed to completely ignore the Domestics that had attacked it. Perhaps the Snubbull's bark was more of an annoyance than a threat?
Snubbull, like his comrade, did as Davros instructed. He ran for the mammal with jaws wide, only to match eyes with the creature and find himself pummeled to the ground. So it was fast... and strong? Quite a combination. But surely the Mercenary could take the Feral on two-to-one.
The wide, oblivious eyes of the Bunnelby, slowly changed to that of determination. If it's a fight they want, then it's a fight they're gonna get. It took a moment to scratch its right ear, which subsequently caused its left foot to thump, but that was more cute than intimidating. Upon the decimation of the itch, Bunnelby narrowed its eyes at the trainer. Guess Davros better get to it!
Bunnelby used Agility! Bunnelby used Tackle on Snubbull!

Underestimating cute Pokemon was a sin committed by many trainers in many different situations. Davros found himself in this particular mess right now, as the Bunnelby tackled Spike to the ground. The bulldog Pokemon yelped in pain and surprise, his eyes wide at the quick turn around from the bunny's movement.
Looking at the wild Pokemon, Davros noticed that the wide, cutsie looking eyes of the bunny quickly condensed down into a more angry and focused look. The bunny had realized that the two Pokemon were attacking on behalf of the human, and well, it obviously wasn't happy about that. Who could really blame it? However, Davros knew that there were going to certain risks with his career and he was fully ready for some of the fights that were going to take place. Present situation included.
The wild Bunnelby wasn't scary in the slightest, but the look of determination on its face spoke enough volumes about the fight that he was in for. "Deimos, power up a thundershock attack," he said, before he turned to Spike. "Spike, prepare a Tail," he said, but the pink bulldog snorted and turned away. "Oi! Listen to my directions!" he yelled.
Turning, the pup ran at the bunny, his teeth started to spark up with a thunder fang. Deimos was winding his arms in a windmill fashion and finally had charged up enough between his antennae before he fired his thundershock, only seeing Spike at the last minute. Davros wondered if Spike's stubbornness would ever get them in trouble, and so it seemed that the ill fated thought was slowly becoming a reality.
Cursing, Davros watched with horror as Spike was about to bite down on a bunny who could be getting electrocuted.

So that was the game they were playing. The feral pokemon never understood why these domestic pokemon would answer to humans. Clearly these two were weaker for relying on a human for their survival.
While the bunnelby was busy glaring at the human, it was slightly distracted from the Snubbull’s attack. It dodged a little too slowly and the pink pokemon got a firm grip on the bunny’s ear. It cried in pain as the volts of electricity shocked its sensitive ears.
Soon the screams were louder as the thunder shock from Deimos hit the pair. But Snubbulls were stubborn creatures and Spike channeled that trait to keep a firm hold on the bunny’s ear despite the pain. Either that or he had become paralyzed.
The Bunnelby had taken enough hits from this pair. In anger it slammed the dog pokemon hard into the ground with its powerful ears. But the bulldog still wouldn’t let go of the ear. Yup, definitely paralyzed.
Glaring fully at the man in front of the Bunnelby twitched its nose. If Davros paid close attention he may suspect that the creature was eating something. In a full out run, the bunnelby charged at Davros. It was slightly slowed by the trailing Snubbull on its ear, but still quick enough.
<”You can have your stupid pokemon back.”> it shouted before whipping the dog at Davros’ leg.
Spike’s Thunder Fang hit! Deimos’ Thunder Shock hit Spike and Bunnelby! Spike became paralyzed! Bunnelby used unpromptu slam! It hit! Bunnelby ate a berry and recovered some health. Bunnelby used agility. Bunnelby used impromptu slam!

Well....the plan kinda worked? The goal was to get the bunny electrocuted and while they did happen, Davros didn't expect the bulldog pup to be latched onto the bunny while the electricity was delivered. Now, Spike seemed to be lodged on the bunny's ear, stuck in paralysis. Davros had heard about the lockjaw syndrome that some of the canine Pokemon went through when they were pissed off or attacking, but this was the first time he had seen it. The Bunnelby was quickly getting fed up with this little game and it was showing on the feral Pokemon's face.
Davros winced as the bunny slammed Spike byway of the ear, but the bulldog held fast, being every bit as stubborn as Davros had initially believed the pup to be. At this point, the wild Pokemon stared right at him and Davros could see the little jaws of the bunny working, meaning that it was eating something.
What the....where could it have gotten food from? There was no time to worry about that, though, as the normal type Pokemon took off towards the human before twisting its head and winging Spike at him. Eyes wide, Davros wasn't ready for it and simply lifted his leg in reflex, and the pup sailed right by, hitting the ground and rolling. With a huff and a bark, the Snubbull slowly stood up, hampered by his paralysis. Trudging back over to Davros, the fairy had a noticeable limp, its right leg seemingly still very paralyzed.
"Deimos, quick attack!" Davros called. "Spike, would you please do what I ask you to now? Use Scary Face to try and make it seize up," the merc said, sighing.
As Deimos started to blur from vision, running towards the bunny, the Snubbull took a step forward and gave a very exaggerated growling, angry face. Hopefully this would work.

The Bunnelby wasn’t overly impressed by Davros’ ability to dodge his attack by simply lifting his leg. It visibly glared at the human and then moved its sights to the limping Snubbull. It really didn’t find the pink pokemon terribly scary when you know you can out run it, even without the paralyzed limb. It returned its gaze to the trainer.
The brown ears twitched as it herd the whizzing of air from the quick attack, unfortunately too late to fully dodge the oncoming attack. The Bunnelby attempted to run out of the way, only to have the full attack hit its side. Ouch!
Wincing to right itself the Bunnelby stood up, only to quickly start digging a hole. Was it trying to get away? Or plan a new attack? Well considering it was so young this plan might take a while. The poor bunny may have overestimated its digging speed.
Scary Face was ineffective Bunnelby was hit by Quick Attack! Bunnelby is attempting to use Dig. (we'll see how that one goes.)
