ENDRE Emrik winced slightly for the Poochyena, a tinge of guilt tugged at him for sort of dragging her into that. Welp, she was going to fight one way or the other, right? This dude looked strong, though. Like, really strong. He'd better make sure he was up to snuff too. Again his adrenaline surged.
Endre frowned at the scraps around the alley. If he had time to sit and fashion something it might be barely workable but with the beast already awoken (for which he had to admit he did feel the slightest ounce of sympathy) time was of the essence. If need be, he'd use his cloak. It wouldn't block much, but it might break momentum, and if used right could actually be pretty handy. For now though he'd just--
What was the woman doing. ..Was she attacking that thing unarmed? It really looked like that was her plan, oh dear. Not to say he didn't find that level of ambition really damn attractive, ahem.. He shifted his own stance and quickened his pace, then, hurrying to be ready to play defense if need be. A shield would be nice, but with the rather likely chance of another person getting raked by those massive claws, his sword should be effective to parry. If both humans were joining this fray, they had to ensure the Armaldo realized there was no one 'easiest target' or at least make it think that role belonged to one of the Pokemon, who would be both more capable of taking the hits and heal faster.
Admittedly, once he got next to her, Endre felt his rush to defend might have been just a touch overreactive. Wow she was a giant. It was not every day he met a woman for whom he barely had to glance down to be able to look her in the eye; he'd daresay she was taller than most men he knew-- and around the same height as the Armaldo, at that. (Come to think, that burning hair combined with her physique looked a little familiar; he'd probably seen her around town a handful of times, but he was pretty certain he'd never actually met her..) Well that was a little more reassuring. Hopefully she was as strong as she looked. Didn't mean he wasn't still ready to parry, of course.
----
Emrik used Work Up. Endre is waiting to try to block Armaldo's attack.

The Armaldo stretched shortly after the Metal Claw move raising both clawed arms upwards briefly before relaxing again- that was until finding a human fist in his face A startled ‘mal!’ transpired as it seemed unlike the pokemon attacks, it had affected him- or maybe it was just that she punched in the face and all and that sound was just an excess compression of – right, metaphysics for another day then. Anyways, the startled sound vibrated for but a moment before a “DO” sound of retaliation escaped and the Armaldo formed another Metal Claw, raised it, and brought it down- only to meet Endre’s sword. Unfinished with the attack, however, the Armaldo raised his other arm clawing down this time harder on the steel as if in attempt to break it.
The Scratch to the foot-angle region by the Pyroll didn’t even register to the Armaldo at the moment- his sights set on the bigger humans even if some form of damage might have been done- maybe more like a tickle considering how resistant the armor was. Would anything penetrate that mess of hard shell?
In a sudden impulsive move, the Poochyena charged forwards, rounding the humans and making a wide arch towards the Armaldo- well as wide as an alleyway could give- before throwing her body in a Tackle against the leg that the Pyroll hadn’t scratched. However, her effort barely caused the Armaldo to shift slightly to one side- as it seemed its weigh was well enough to keep it standing, and instead, it was her exasperated ‘huff’ sound that escaped in response.

Kenna blinked at the clang of claw on metal, and tossed a "Thenk ye," towards the man before going right back to what she'd been doing before. Sure, her knuckles could have done with some padding, what with its natural armor, but... "This--" a punch-- "is whit--" a knee to the stomach-- "ye git--" ooh going for the eye! That's low-- "fur ruinin' mah shop! Ye boggin'..." Aaand she wasn't really intelligible anymore, though that was probably good, given none of it was really child friendly. "Thank you." "This-- is what-- you get-- for ruining my shop, you smelly..."
Pyroll looked at his trainer. Well. That was... interesting. At least she hadn't shown any signs of this anger towards him. Yet. Well, anyhow... He didn't think he could get in there without hurting his trainer's feet, so... even if he didn't really have its attention right now, he thought it would be best to raise his butt in the air and Tail Whip again. Maybe, that would, uh... He wasn't sure exactly what he was trying to accomplish here, really.
Party:
- Kenna attempts to go to town on the Armaldo, ignoring 'recoil' damage from punching/kicking it without any protection
- Pyroll attempts Tail Whip on Armaldo

ENDRE Endre winced slightly at the metal on metal sound, turning his blade to slide the first arm away even as the second went up. Without much thought, Endre brought up his thick, heavy cloak in attempt to 'catch' the other, twisting it in an attempt to gain leverage, push the claw away, and ensnare it all at once the moment he saw the fabric give. He didn't mean to be rude by not answering the woman; he was just a bit tunnel-visioned at the moment.
Emrik decided he'd done enough waiting around, already feeling twice as strong as before, and moved to the opposite side of the Armaldo from the trainers. With the sort of passionate fury that only a Survivor's Pokemon could muster, he raised his paw high and came down with another but much stronger Karate Chop.

With one arm caught, the Armaldo ended up shaking said arm the shine of the Metal Claw fading as he freed himself- only to find--- UMPH! The punch again to the face made eyes squint, though the knee did little but hit more heavily plated armor barely even making the beast flinch. Just as Kenna was going for his eye, the Armaldo ducked his long neck body thing down before ramming Kenna. Well that wasn’t really an attack but a full one-hundred-how-many-pounds --- wow that felt more than the standard one fifty didn’t it? Well, it was hard to actually gauge quantitatively in such a situation where one didn’t have the machinery at the moment.
Just then, Emrik’s attack hit the Armaldo hard- both due to the series of Work Ups and the sheer strength of pokemon. It would have been harder still had that Armor not protected the pokemon as well as it did, yet only a wince actually made it to the Armaldo’s features before his tail went swinging in an attempt to smack the little bear away. Maybe if Pyroll had been faster in his strange cute maneuver in lowering the Armaldo’s defense, the fighting move would have done more damage still.
The small dark canine refused to be forgotten either, her body lunging forwards again to ram the Armaldo in the side with a Tackle. Even if some strange part of her actually felt a tad bad that the Armaldo was fighting so many enemies at ones, the thought was pushed away by the rage inside. That had still been her home! And then her fourth walling writing chuckled upon realizing this was, in one form or another, the same reason everyone else was fighting as well.

"Oomph!" Accent wasn't really an issue here, as onomatopoeias, while they may vary from place to place, still sound essentially the same by definition. It took Kenna a moment to recover from having the wind knocked out of her, and she was likely to have a nice bruise or several in a few hours, but that wasn't really an issue right now. She caught her breath for a moment, leaning on the wall she'd been knocked against, then went right back for more. Pyroll, on the other hand, squinted and paused it's butt-waggling for a moment. Huh. That little fluffy-- well both the other Pokémon were fluffy dark--No, wait. Okay, the one walking on two legs. Pyroll was sure he'd seen it around the lab before, and should have known its name--or at least its gender--but, uh... There were a lot of Pokémon. ...Right! The point was, he thought that it maybe did more damage than seemed likely, given that armor. And... Did the quad's attack do more too? Pyroll renewed his hopefully-cute butt-wiggling with vigor. His claws wouldn't do much, but if he could just get the Armaldo to focus on him... Though, out of this horde currently attacking, he supposed that was something of a long shot. Still! The mighty dragon-- wait. Waaaait. The one time that one of his daydreams would have actually been applicable he'd just clean forgotten to think of something. Welp. Too late to start now. Even this much mind-wandering was dangerous, even if his role at the moment was 'look cute'.
Party:
- Kenna is knocked back and winded
- Kenna ignores forming bruises to get back up and go at the Armaldo again
- Pyroll uses Tail Whip (again) (come on dice the ONLY time I'm not actually wanting to roll high I do,,, why. y u do dis.)

ENDRE Endre winced a bit as Kenna went flying, but was relieved that she got up so quickly. A very small 'sorry' was muttered out at some point, through his teeth and under his breath. As he did that, though, he began quickly scouring the armor for exposed joints, ducking in and taking a whack with his sword at the one he deemed to look best right that moment. His teeth gritted a bit as he prepared for the sound of metal on rock.
The tail sent Emrik back in what to onlookers would have been a fairly comical arc, ending in a few tumbles when he hit the ground. Ow.. Wasting no time, though, pushed himself back to his feet and leapt into the fray; when a small sound escaped his trainer, it didn't even register as a possibility that that sorry wasn't actually meant for him. No problem, bro, he thought confidently, using yet another Karate Chop.

The ‘clang’ sound of the sword on the Armaldo’s shoulder was certainly not what one would have expected from a sword meeting a rock of all things. It almost sounded like steel on steel- blade on blade even, and then and there the reflection of light from the junction would briefly hit Endre’s view before disappearing as the Armaldo’s arm moved back again only to turn and whip a claw sideways at Endre in a not quite Slash worthy move. Was this a normal Armaldo?
Kenna’s recovery and continued attack would be missed by the Armaldo’s initial interest in Endre, and it gave her just enough time to punch the pokemon in the face again. The Armaldo was starting to get irritated. A “MAL!” escaped from his throat as he turned and whipped his other claw at Kenna. However, in the corner of his eye, the Armaldo caught the sight of the Pyroll again, and undesiringly for him, his defense lowered again.
The second Karate Chop did more than the first, hitting the Armaldo’s leg again and causing a cry of pain. Possibly due to a mixture of being hit in the same place twice, having his defenses lowered, and being hit by a Survivor’s pokemon, the Armaldo found that one hurt really bad. In frustration, the Armaldo began shimmering before forming a --- was that a Flash Cannon attack aimed not at the humans or directly attacking pokemon but at Pyroll? Whelp. Seemed he didn’t like being distracted. Maaaaaybe this Armaldo’s priorities were out of order.
The Poochyena, meanwhile, charged again ramming herself into the Armaldo just as the larger pokemon fired the attack causing it to veer off course in the process.

The shining, crackling energy thus hit Pyroll, who'd dodged to the left and... the Armaldo toppled the same way. Whoops. He barely had time to squeeze his eyes shut before he blacked--...before... Huh. He blinked. He was still conscious! Whoohoo! Sure, that had hurt, and quite a bit, too, but... He was still pretty fine, actually. He could stand one or two more of those, even. Huh. Guess these plates are good for something, after all! It looked like his butt-wiggle was making him a target, though. Huh. And as much as the--Pancham! That was it. At least it didn't come to him after the--right, the battle, that's still going on right now stop getting sidetracked. ...As much as its thing seemed to be doing a lot, that was more... well... It was different than Scratch. Oooh, but there was something-- Pyroll headbuttted his trainer while she was still blinking the dazzling light out of her eyes to get her attention, and held his arms up in the universal 'pick me up!' gesture. As Kenna frowned and grunted disapproval, he nodded meaningfully to the Armaldo while keeping his arms extended. ...Oh...kay? Kenna delayed renewing her onslaught to pick him up as asked, and as soon as he was high enough and had the foothold to do so, he lept at the Armaldo's face to deliver the Scratch where it would hurt most--or, well, the only place it seemed to hurt at all. Kenna smiled at her Pokémon with a sense of pride, but... It wasn't quite right, but that last swing by the man fighting with her sounded more like her shop than it ought to have. It looked plenty like rock, though. And hadn't those little ones been rock-types as well? Not that punching metal hurt any less than rock--as her bleeding knuckles attested to--but... It just made her hesitate for a moment in confusion.
Party:
- Pyroll survives the Flash Cannon! Not even barely, he's still fairly healthy, though definitely not perfectly. Dat. Armor.
- Kenna beams with pride at her fiesty little Pyroll and wonders why she feels nostalgic.

ENDRE Endre was so surprised by the clanging sound that it caused him a slight delay in bringing up his sword to parry again. Eventually he did manage to use some leverage from the blade to push the claw away, but not before it managed to do some serious damage to his upper chest; a cry of agony escaped even as he pushed the Armaldo back, and he was pretty sure his collar bone had taken some real damage. He still seemed able to move his arm, but it was more difficult and hurt like crazy.
Emrik's ego soared when the Armaldo cried out; he didn't seem to care how the rest of the battle might be going. He was doing awesome, and he was gonna keep it up! Karate Chop!
