January 10, Year 1, AfteroonWalking back through Port City with his elbow bent and his wrist only a few inches from his face, Alessio pressed yet another button on his X-Gear doing his best not to scowl upon finding that he needed chips to fill in the possible functions that could be applied. While he knew this was going to be the case, it was still mildly annoying that trainers weren't awarded X-Gear with all the fine functions attached. What of course he just wasn't being ungrateful for receiving one of the most expensive items in the shop for free. He was just saying if they were going to give them out to trainers, it would be better if they were given the entire package. Alessio chewed his bottom lip trying to quell some mild irritation.
Suddenly he stopped walking, green eyes widening at the message that was before him from the Holo messaging system. Ah so that was why he had seen so many Anorith recently- not that he didn't just kick most of the crustacean pokemon to the side if they took any interest in him or attacked him, but...heh. So all trainers were being called to take care of the infestation? Looked like he was a few days late, but the reward was certainly worth at least entertaining a few battles- plus it would be good to strengthen his pokemon with a couple of battles. Lowering his arm to fish out a pokeball from his pocket, Alessio glanced down at it and smirked. Alright then, he'd bite. Releasing the Limbkin he'd chosen, Alessio didn't waste a moment even as she stretched her tiny wings briefly. "We're hunting Anorith," the young man stated aloud before shrinking her pokeball and setting it back into his pocket. "Come on," and with that, Alessio started walking once again.
The Limbkin briefly blinked before rather quickly chasing after her trainer upon finding she was about to be left behind.

Alessio was in luck, although, one did not really need luck to find a Pokemon that was swarming the city. A blonde girl up ahead kicked an Anorith particularly hard in the trainer's direction and screamed at the top of her lungs, "I'M SO TIRED OF THESE ARCEUS-DAMNED BUGS!" Dang. She looked like she was only 12 too. She humphed, jumped on her Gogoat and disappeared, leaving Alessio with an Anorith to fight.
Oh! And there was another one sneaking up behind him! So two!
2 Feral Anorith appeared!

Fists clenched as he walked, Alessio allowed his head to turn and his eyes to flash sideways here and there daring any Anorith to come out. Green eyes flashed forwards as something came flying in his direction, and Alessio tensed as the Anorith landed nearly in front of him. The girl’s scream thereafter earned a small unamused smirk as Alessio stared at the all but gift wrapped present. Did the girl not know about the reward? Hmph, her loss.
“Hey you,” he started glancing back to his Limbkin only to find she had backed up closer to him upon catching sight of another Anorith coming up behind him. Oh? Two of them? Well it must have been his lucky day- or just the fact that it was swarming Anorith, hah. “Celia,” was the commanding name that escaped. “Attack the Anorith with whatever damaging attack you have,” Alessio snapped out having forgotten to ask Oak about what attacks a Limbkin knew. The Limbkin blinked slowly her head turning at the name that was stated. Was that… her name? Had he just come up with her name on the spot? She didn’t know but… it was better than ‘hey you’ she supposed- even if he still spoke it in somewhat of an angry manner- or was that just his accent? Anyways~ Throwing her small wings up and calling out a “LEEEEM” much as she did in the lab, the Limbkin speedily closed the distance between herself and the Anorith and attempted a Scratch with her bottom feet- aiming for the Anorith’s right eye.
Alessio hadn’t wasted a minute fishing out his other pokeball and releasing the Elgyem within. “You, use some psychic move or something,” was the order directed at the Elgyem who blinked briefly head tilting towards his trainer before he glanced at the Anorith and ---oh…oh..oh my…he was…in a battle? This soon? Uhm…what had his trainer said to do? Uhm…uh… some psychic uh.. oh! Uhm… Confusion? Drawing up some psychic energy, the Elgyem pointed briefly at the Anorith before releasing a Confusion. Well… Alessio was certainly … not the most conventional trainer.
---- Celia the Limbkin used Scratch on the Anorith from behind. The Unnamed Elgyem used Confusion on the other Anorith. Alessio is unconventional.

A tiny "Myeck!" sounded from the Anorith as Celia caught its eye, but it quickly countered by flipping itself around and clamping onto Celia's leafy tail. It couldn't keep its eye open and it still winced at the pain. Seems that little Limbkin hit a crit on her first hit.
Elgyem's Confusion was a little off however. Anorith made a startled noise as the psychic energy blasted its side. Its eyes narrowed at the Pokemon. Then, it began to scuttle its way to Elygem, while also hardening its shell. Ah, a talented little multi-tasker we have here. Its claws were also prepared for a scratch.
Anorith 1 was hit by Scratch - Critical hit! Anorith 1 clamped onto Celia's tail-leaves! Anorith 2 is grazed by Confusion! Anorith 2 used Harden - Defense raised! Anorith 2 is preparing to Scratch!

A squawk escaped from Celia as she found her tail clamed onto, and on some odd cue she started running- because apparently that was going to help the situation and…she was also distancing herself form Alessio as she continued to run and jump over various obstacles in her short path. The sound Alessio made when he glanced back to watch his Limbkin running away with an Anorith clamped to her tail was nearly just as humorous. “Dove stai andando?” he practically shouted accidentally switching to Italian in irritation. Where was she going?? Celia, meanwhile, certainly heard a call from Alessio’s voice— but had no idea what he was saying and just sorta… kept running and hopping as she went.
Meanwhile, with his trainer distracted by Celia, the poor Elgyem was left confused on what to do next. Should… he use another Confusion or –OH GOD IT WAS RIGHT THERE COMING AT HIM AND ASJHDAKSDHJKASDH ALEX-OR-WHATEVER! Upon being Scratched along his skull, the Elgyem nearly toppled sideways, bringing up small arms to brace one against his head thereafter. Alessio, meanwhile had turned back just in time to watch the Scratch, and a tich of irritation escaped from him. This was not how Double Battles were supposed to go. “Attaccare di nuovo!” he snapped at the Elgyem before subconsciously switching back to English. “Keep attacking until I tell you otherwise!” he shouted before taking off in a run in Celia’s direction. The poor Elgyem …groaned. His trainer was… sigh. Left to his own devices, rather than usher out another Confusion, the Elgyem Growled instead.
--- Celia … went running with an Anorith on her tail- apparently trying to shake it off or something with her speed? Alessio’s irritated and chasing after her. Jay plays Benny Hill MusicElgyem is left to his own devices and decides to Growl.

Limbkin was... fast. As she bolted off, a dust cloud formed in her trail, limiting her trainer's sight. ...That might be a helpful trick someday eh? Anyways, the speed idea was definetly a good one, especiall with the bug being so weak. It gradually slid off of her tail and its rock-hard body basically flew back into Alessio's stomach.
The Elygem's growl was nothing to really be afraid of, though it did cause Anorith to shudder because of the still eerie tone that the psychic Pokemon carried. It decided to go in for another scratch, this time aiming for the Pokemon's legs.
Anorith 1 flew into Alessio! Anorith 2's Attack fell! Anorith 2 used Scratch on Elygem!

Alessio was practically sprinting to keep up with his Limbkin, wondering how he didn’t know she was this damn fast to begin with. Well, he knew there was something special about her when he saw her- hence why he’d off-handidly chosen her, but damn. Suddenly the- AKSJDLAS! As the Arnorith hit his chest, Alessio swore before managing to come to a complete stop reaching up to seize the Anorith and tear it off him before throwing it down onto the ground and making to step on what region one might consider a face- hard.
“You tore my clothes…” Alessio growled glancing down at his shirt cut up by the sharpness of the Anorith before strange devilish light flashed in Alessio’s green spheres. “How unfortunate for you…” In one swift motion, he raised the leg that he’d braced the Anorith under and made to send it crashing back down on the Anorith’s head throwing nearly all his weight on it in the process.
Meanwhile, as she realized that oh hey the thing was off her tail, Celia came to a complete stop as well- only to find that her trainer and the Anorith were far behind her now. Oops… Turning her long legs and body around, she went running back in that direction. “Leeeemb!”
Not fast enough to avoid being cut on the legs, the poor Elgyem cried out falling backwards. Though it didn’t hurt near as much as before due to the lowered attack, it still hurt! Maybe he… should have just gone with another Confusion… yeah… Forcing himself to stand rather quickly, he ushered out the attack shortly thereafter.
--- Alessio continues his unconventional streak and is now wailing on an Anorith. Celia is running back to the scene. Poor Elgyem isn't having fun with this.

"Ith!" cried the rock lobster as Alessio stamped on its head with a worrying crack No damage was visible, but... its head was ringing from the impact, and it felt a bit dizzy. It flailed its claws about, but it had neither the range nor the speed to do much. ...Impressive force, given that didn't have the power of an actual Pokémon's attack. The other Anorith, on the other hand, was fighting fit. Or at least relatively. After being hit with Confusion, it decided that the best course of action was to reduce incoming damage with a Harden... too bad it didn't understand the difference between Physical and Special damage, huh.

- Anorith 1 is... very hurt. Ow.
- Anorith 2 is damaged by Confusion
- Anorith 2 uses Harden!

In the past humans might have found it atrocious or even scary to fight a pokemon, yet Alessio had not grown up like the humans of the past. The world(s) had never been a safe place, neither PokeEarth nor Mi-aro, and for one who had grown up knowing the true cruelty of man and pokemon alike, Alessio was a fearless as he was ruthless. What kindness his sister had bestowed in his heart had not melted the ice, rather the gentle refreshing rain had not put out the scorching flames. In all senses of the word, he was a dangerous dog of a man whose sole leash rested in the hands of a woman that didn’t happen to be there at the moment.
That was what he wished he was, anyways. In truth it was but a relic of an ideal refurbished from the past he could not let go of. For as cruel as he could be, for as relentless as his anger was, Alessio was not completely the feral creature that had stepped through the Portal eight years ago ready to tear the faces off anyone who dared threaten him. He had learned many things in that time frame, felt just as many. No, even Alessio knew that his brutality was uncalled for against the Anorith especially when this particular one had done nothing but fly back and hit him in the chest due to his own Limbkin’s running. It hit him certainly after his foot dropped and in the seconds after he stood there glaring down at the pokemon.
A soft growl escaped from Alessio as he removed his foot from the Anorith’s head just in time for Celia to make it back in the general vicinity of her trainer. Glancing sideways at her, Alessio made a simple head gesture glancing at the Anorith and then back at her before turning on his heels. “Deal with this mess,” was the flat order given. Celia blinked. Well… Alessio hadn’t really given her orders so far as it was so… it wasn’t that odd but…uh… right. Raising a clawed leg, she attempted a Scratch on the Anorith from where she was.
Unsure of what to do next, the poor Elgyem was left looking around for where his trainer had gone. Um… He was pretty sure this wasn’t how a battle was supposed to go. Where did Alezio go? Oh! There he was- and o-oh dear he didn’t look happy. What to do what to do? Glancing back at the Anorith whom had used Harden, the Elgyem hesitated before releasing another Confusion cause uh that’s what his trainer had said to do… right?

[ahaha sorry I meant to get this a while ago but then tests and things and I just,,,, sorry! x'3;] The first Anorith seemed to relax as Alessio walked away, but found that was a mistake as Celia came and attacked it. It swiped its own claws in a retaliatory Scratch at her, but... its movements seemed somewhat slow. ...Well, that's head injuries for you? The other Anorith was hit by the Confusion again, and tried to literally shake it off. Ugh, that hurt. But... maybe slightly less than last time? It was hard to tell. It figured, hey, I'll just use Harden again. It can't hurt.

- Anorith 1 attempts Scratch! It's noticeably weaker than usual...
- Anorith 2 is damaged by Confusion. Again.
- Anorith 2 uses Harden! Again.
