Jasper wasted little time in applying the medicine, and as it worked- oddly literally removing the venom from what his player just understood of the situation- he sighed softly watching the system clear itself— only to tense as Morgan began to gag and cough. An ‘are you alright’ nearly escaped from his lips as his brain suddenly buzzed with questions of whether the venom had not been cleared. Coughing symptoms were normally upper respiratory but gaging was also intestinal and-

It had taken Jasper a moment to realize Morgan had even spoke let alone removed her hand and started fishing in her bag for pokeballs, and it would only be later in reflection that he’d realize she had said she’d interfered in something. “The Eka-“ he started before glancing over at the defeated pokemon- one of which Aurora had taken particular interest in trying to poke and prod with one paw. If they’re becoming more common on this route, antivenom would become more useful than simple Antidote and more effective when dealing with their poisons and--- He needed at least one of the snakes for that. “I’ll catch one of them for antivenom purposes,” he answered finding himself shifting the bag from his shoulder and fishing a pokeball from one of the mass of zippers.

He glanced at Morgan briefly with yet another ‘are you alright?’ look before deciding to let it be for now. The Full Heal had taken effect… what had transpired afterwards was… Maybe just side effects… Not everyone reacted to medication the same way, after all. Putting that rationale away, Jasper slowly stood up glancing over towards the Ekans before pausing upon realizing that this… would literally be his first caught pokemon. He’d always been fine with just Nova, and the thought of catching others hadn’t ever really come to him for that reason but… But there also hadn’t been venomous snakes on this common route before either. Jasper tossed the pokeball at the Ekans closer to Aurora. The Riolu’s head jutted to one side upon seeing, and a small “Luuuuu” escaped from her puppy mouth though whether in question, acknowledgement, or what exactly, Jasper knew not.

MORGAN

"Oh, you have your own Pokéball? Great..." She placed her second ball back in her pack, and... noticed the First Aid Kit she had there. It probably didn't have antivenom, and even if it did it might not have worked against a Pokémon's attack, but... still, this would have been nice to remember a few minutes ago. Oh, well. She took the other ball from her left hand and tossed it at the remaining Ekans with her right. "Mal, Raptor? Do you guys mind staying out but... closer to me, as we carry on? Three heads are better than one, and all that..." 

As they hopped and floated back, respectively, she pondered. ...Hm, her hand still hurt--the venom was out, and she was already feeling quite a bit better, and with... she... still wasn't sure what it was that had been--no. She couldn't think about that, she'd get nauseous again. Either way, though, there was still the wound from the sting, and she did have gauze bandages in her first aid kit... It was rather sloppy, but she got some wrapped around her right hand well enough to stay, at least.
