Momoko sakura mewnii
20 | female | bisexual |
survivor | explorer | The Ambassador |
appearance
Momoko has long black hair that stretches out to her waist that is surprisingly well kept, considering she is hardly ever in civilization, and has a purplish hue in the sun. She has big sharp violet eyes and a slender build. Momoko stands at 5'4" and is 58 kilograms. Her legs aren't very strong, and can be seen shaking if she stands still for more than a couple of minutes. Although, she makes up for it with her arm strength, being able to carry heavy items with little problem. Her skin is quite pale, and bears a few scars on her back, near her chest and torso, hidden from sight thanks to her clothing. There is, however, a very visible scar on her left hand, dragging up onto her elbow. Faceclaim: Homura Akemi from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
clothing
everyday Momoko wears a headband that frames her inky bangs. She usually wears what looks to be a tattered school uniform, although her skirt goes down to her knees. The ribbon on her blouse is dark blue, while her sailor scarf and skirt is much lighter shade of blue. | formal She does carry around a light pink dress and shoes in case, but she's never worn them. |
backpack
Momoko carries her stuff around in a big, forest green tote bag which has a white star pattern on it. Inside she carries her formal wear, a pair of red glasses, and other necessities.
personality
Momoko is a very light-hearted person. She's peppy, has a good sense of humor, and tends to at the bright side of things, although she is known to get uncharastically serious when younger siblings come into play, hugging them and tearing up slightly. She has pair of glasses that she carries around, but she never really wears them since her eyesight isn't horrible, and she just doesn't care. Even though Momoko is the happy-go-lucky kind, she is easily hurt. She takes offense to the smallest things, and tends to cry quite a bit. Another reason tears might fall from her eyes is if she is stuck in a tight spot. Momoko is extremely claustrophobic, and will start breathing heavily, maybe fainting, if she's in one for a while. Nevertheless, Momoko knows the right time to be serious and the right time to play around, and is in no way a lacking explorer.

the backstory
Being born during the seventh year of people's arrival in Mi-aro, she never cared much for the whole fires-destroying-PokeEarth thing. During this time, she wore her hair in two large braids tied up with ribbons, and wore her glasses all the time. Momoko was always the quirky child. She'd be that kid who would like the cheese on the side of the road, and the one who'd punch that bully everyone hates and get a detention. She didn't like hurting people, but got seriously pissed of when others hurt or made fun of her friends. She was very strong-willed, and didn't take no for an answer. And on her tenth birthday, she got the best birthday present she could ever ask for: a baby sister.
The baby girl was named Chiyo. Chiyo did have some similarities with Momoko, however the biggest difference was that she paid no heed to other people's opinions. She was very hot-headed and got in much more trouble than Momoko did, and she wasn't even in school yet! (She was pretty smart for her age, though.) Chiyo had always wanted to have a Pokèmon, but her mother wouldn't allow it, thus causing many arguments. She'd always talk about how one day she'd become a famous explorer, much to the annoyance of the older sister. Even though Chiyo caused lots of drama, everything was usually fine for the family. That is, until Chiyo death.
Five days after Chiyo's and Momoko's fourth and fourteenth birthdays, Chiyo had been killed. The person responsible for the homicide was never found, angering the parents very much. Momoko had fallen into depression and would hardly eat anything, worrying everyone around her. She recovered the next year and was back to her silly self, but the internal sadness always lingered. She vowed to accomplish Chiyo's dream in her stead, no matter how long it took.
