MORGAN Skreee! cried the Anorith, causing Morgan to cringe and put a hand to her ear. "Aah! Ta guele! Ta gueule-vous putain de connards!" Pokémon were certainly louder than Morgan had anticipated. Even her own--though she'd remembered last night that Banette, her Shuppet's eventual evolution, were named after banshee legends, so she could hardly fault her little ghost for embracing her destiny, as she'd put it. Anoriths, though, had no excuse. Les petites merdes. She glanced up to see which one it was coming from-- merde! It was righted again! But that wasn't even the worst of it! At least that one seemed to be staying where it was; Morgan had looked up in time to see the second Anorith start its beeline to her. She--well--she made a noise of some sort. It most decidedly was not a terrified shriek. Nope. It was... a warning. Yup. That's definitely what happened there. Finding herself suddenly against the wall--she hadn't stepped backwards from fear, that was just... a tactical maneuver; removing the possibility of attack from behind, of course--and a bit out of breath, Morgan barely managed, "Raptor, Mal! Get--get it away! Stop it!" Malcontent interpreted this as an order to attack again, and moved in to use another Knock Off on the creature. Raptor, on the other hand, paused and concentrated on the Anorith with his mind, trying to put it to sleep--but without being able to meet its gaze, the Hypnosis was significantly more difficult to even attempt. Morgan had given up trying to flip the Anorith nearest her, by this point. She tried once, twice, to kick it a bit away while she grabbed for her bag--it didn't have anything valuable in it, right? Just--ah, her... team's Pokéballs. Those were probably fairly durable, but... it probably wasn't worth the risk involved in trying to whack the Anorith with her bag, was it? She sighed, though was interrupted from another nip from the Anorith in question. Though, at least that was still distracting him, given... Tirtouga still wasn't doing anything. Not for lack of trying, mind you--he was trying to be clever and give the nearest Anorith a status condition. He just... didn't have any such move, no matter how hard he concentrated. It was fortunate that none of the Anoriths seemed to have noticed yet; it was unfortunate that Morgan hadn't been paying much attention either, and didn't recall his unmoving and rather vulnerable lump of rock and flesh.
- Malcontent attempted Knockoff on Anorith 2
- Raptor attempted Hypnosis from on Anorith 2 (from odd angle/lowers likelihood probably?)
- Morgan is kicking at Anorith 3
- Tirtouga still isn't doing anything. (I even ended up rolling twice, because I wrote up a whole post and lost it. Since I was having to redo the post, I rerolled. he didn't do anything either time. )

Although Raptor's hypnosis didn't hit spot on, he little contact it was able to make with the Anorith gave it a drowsy effect. Its scuttle became wavery and its eyes blinked out of sync. Then with two good luck hits in a row, Mal's Knock Off landed a critical hit! With a very weak cry, the Anorith slugged down and passed out.
Anorith 1 finally noticed Tirtouga and began to inspect him. It didn't attack, but simply scratched at the shell. Perhaps being a little too curious, the bug Pokemon stuck its head in the turtle's head hole. Hm. That oughta produce some results eh?
Now positively pissed, the final Anorith clamped onto Morgan's kicking foot with all of its might. "SCREE!" it hissed, even sending some spit out. Why were these things so aggressive? Morgan really did upset them by stealing their meal. Oh well, she's one step closer to cleaning up her mess!
Anorith 2 fainted! Anorith 1 is inspecting Tirtouga. Anorith 3 is being a booger.
Raptor & Mal gain 5 EXP. Nothing for Tirtouga because he did nothing. Lazy turtle.

MORGAN Raptor jumped up and down as he cheered for Mal when she finished off the Anorith--and flinched, feeling the scratched from earlier. Meanwhile, Morgan barely managed to withhold another girly shriek as she cried out, "Casse-toi! Casse-toi vous connards!" After some seconds, she managed to see that her other Pokémon were free to act now, with 'their' Anorith...that looked fainted, right? Yeah. "Come over here and get this off me please!" she shouted to them. Mal floated over unhurriedly, making Morgan anxious and irritated--well, more than the Anorith was already doing. Merde! Was its spit acidic or something? It seemed to burn for some reason...? Morgan didn't remember anything like that but--oh, maybe it was just that it was getting in the cuts she hadn't noticed around her ankles before. Double merde! Raptor got to Morgan before Mal did, and took the 'get it off' order as aggressive, and used Tackle on the critter by her feet. A few moments later, Mal sideswiped at the Anorith, attempting to Knock it Off of Morgan's leg like she'd knocked the other off the child's earlier. And, hey, the Tirtouga was finally reacting! He turned his head to face the intruder and directed a point-blank Water Gun at it.
- Raptor attempted Tackle on Anorith 3
- Malcontent attempted Knock Off on Anorith 3
- Tirtouga attempted Water Gun on Anorith 2
- Morgan attempted not to screech
- Morgan stopped kicking

Mal's knock off did the job well. Anorith fell to its side and growled at the ghost, but was interrupted by Raptor's tackle. Though it wasn't effective, it did manage to give the beast a last tip before it was on its back. Bingo. Morgan might wanna get those cuts bandaged though... and maybe check for infection..? Yeah, she should probably do that.
The other bug was hit hard by the point-blank, supereffective move. It made an attempt to cry out, but its shout was turned into a gurgle. That one was done too. It simply collapsed and passed out.
Anorith 3 is disabled! Anorith 1 fainted! Tirtouga gains 5EXP!

MORGAN Morgan let out a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. Clearly not the whole time, but still... a moment to breathe was nice. Even if it made her notice her cuts even more."Good going Tirtouga!" Obviously it didn't understand the words, but hopefully it--he, right?--understood the tone. Though it was possible he just thought that was for her other companions...Speaking of. "And you two as well, Malcontent, Raptor." The latter huffed with a small 'hoot' and nodded (leaned, more like) towards the last Anorith. Yes, it was on its back, but it was clearly still conscious as it fought to right itself. "Oh, ah, right, yes thank you Raptor. Finishing that one off too is probably a good idea." Raptor nod-bowed quickly and threw himself at the wriggling Anorith, cuts be damned. Malcontent, on the other hand, seemed to realize before any of her companions that she'd learned a new move! She didn't know that it was when the first of the Anoriths had fainted, and it had still taken her a while to notice it, but... she had. And she didn't want to get the Hoothoot off at this point, so she used Night Shade instead on the little critter. Morgan probably should have withdrawn the Tirtouga at this point, since he wasn't needed to help much anymore, and was more likely to get hurt while outside the ball. If any of that had occurred to her, Morgan would almost certainly have withdrawn him, but she was rather preoccupied with her other two Pokémon and the cuts on her legs. They really weren't very bad and merde. Those socks had been nice. And those pants. They still worked fine, but... why. Preventing this from happening was why she'd stayed in the city. Why.Meanwhile, the Tirtouga seemed to sense as much, at least? Whatever the reason, he drew his flippers and his head into his shell somewhat.
- Shuppet is attempting Night Shade on Anorith 3
- Hoothoot is attempting Tackle on Anorith 3
- Morgan is having the beginnings of a nervous break down
- Tirtouga is attempting Withdraw

For a brief moment, the last conscious Anorith blinked slowly upon finding the world was no longer right side up- or rather that he was upside down. Huh, he’d never thought to look at the world that way, and it was kind of, sort of interesti- AND OH CRAP THERE WERE STILL THINGS ABOUT TO ATTACK HIM. Flailing a little more than before as he tried to right himself, the Anorith was little match for the combined efforts of the pokemon. The Tackle perpetually smashed the Anorith into the ground, and while it was not very effective overall, the Night Shade that followed shortly after caused the small pokemon to finally faint. Going flaccid on the ground, the Anorith moved no more.
It seemed Morgan had made it through the chaos and come out the victor- even if maybe she’d acquired some self-damage along the way.
-- Anorith 3 has fainted. Mal gained 5 EXP! Raptor gained 5 EXP!

MORGAN Raptor let out a loud hoot of victory when the critter under him stopped moving; Mal didn't react beyond turning to look at Morgan.
The hoot at least got Morgan out of her pity-party, and after saying, "Good going, all of you," she withdrew all three of her Pokémon, and turned right around to get them healed up...again... at the inn.
So that was another bout of waiting, and enduring of sideways looks from the staff there. By the time Morgan made it outside again, it looked to be afternoon already. Well. That was just fantastic.
And the Anorith seemed to be gone. ...Hopefully they, uh. Went back to the ocean after regaining consciousness, or something. Or were eaten by feral Pokémon around here? That wasn't very pleasant to think about, but it was better than 'they regained consciousness and then returned to their raid on the city as if nothing had happened,' anyway.
Morgan sighed, and started on her way back home. On the way there, she passed a general store and realized that they might have something to help her legs with, so she stopped in and bought a First Aid Kit. Then she went home.
After wrapping her lower legs in gauze and medical tape, she collapsed on her bed and slept. Eventually, she remembered to let her Pokémon out of their Pokéballs, having filled the bathtub for her Tirtouga. She probably ought to come up with a name for him, huh? Even if he doesn't understand it... Hm.
Her other two Pokémon were rather clearly related to night-time, but Tirtouga was kind of a...stretch for a night-themed team. So the name would have to link the Pokémon to the concept.
Cautiously putting her hand out to the turtle in her bathtub, Morgan said, "How does 'Tide' work for you?" The Pokémon didn't respond to the question, unsurprisingly. He didn't nip at her hand, either, like she'd feared he would--but neither did he let her pet him, shying away from the advancing limb. She sighed, taking back her hand, and saying, "Well, I suppose I'll ask you again when you can understand me."
[Tirtouga +1 TP (total 9)] ((whoops sorry I forgot the total-at-the-end up until now! ^^;;;; also just did a recount of posts since I caught Tirtouga and apparently it's 9 posts I thought it was 8. this is why we put the total there lol/whooooops :'3))
[Any chance I can get some extra TP for the small bit of interaction with Tirtouga? x'3]
