lv 1 440 WORDS TAG OPEN | JULY 19
Sybil had not yet left the city back towards her home. She admitted to herself, though she longed for the tranquility of the woods again, to being curious of other human's lives. Grandauntie always said cities and civilization to be an unnatural way to live- but was it? Some pokemon grouped together for support and strength and clearly humans were no different. Sybil wanted to enjoy some of the oddities of communities, and since she was here it seemed like a fine time to indulge that idea- and she had company now in the ghost pokemon floating silently just behind her head.
The first thing she wanted to try was food. Of course she'd eaten, but often porridge and stews- things that only needed to be cooked at the beginning of the week. It took a bit of convincing to get the vendor of fried pidgey in some kind of sauce to part with the sticks of meat. Normally, Sybil understood, one would exchange money but she had none on her at the time. Instead she managed to exchange a few charms after the vendors little daughter expressed her interest. Sybil gave them some protection from fire stones, seeming prudent for people who fried food for a living, as well as general good luck trinkets. The trade was worth it as Sybil wander away to find a place to enjoy her treat.
She managed to find a low ledge of large stones- natural or decorative she couldn't tell. They were ideal for sitting, and so she claimed a spot a little away from the road and unwrapped the meat from the gauzy cloth they were bundled together in. The smell was enticing, and she placed a few pieces pulled off one of the sticks in front of Hexe before biting in. It was delicious! She'd never had meat charcoaled like this, nor basted in some kind of tangy sauce. Sybil wondered if the vendor would show her how to make it for a few more trinkets.
Wiping the back of her hand across her mouth after finishing the stick, her attention was taken by Hexe, who was making a small noise. the first Sybil had heard. She was alerting the human to the presence of another, sitting not far from her. Sybil had not noticed them, whether they had been there all along or just sat down. Without a second thought, wanting to share this interesting product of civilization with another person, she held out a kabob to them. "Would you like it? It's quite good." She told them, not bothering to introduce herself or even attract their attention beforehand.

I WANT TO EMBRACE THIS SUMMER TIGHTLY BECAUSE I'LL BE BY YOUR SIDE, ALWAYS Kyra had woken up rather early today and left her house as soon as she was ready. She didn't even bother to eat breakfast. All she could think of was to start bonding with her two new Pokemon, Neva and Adeen. After all, they were going on a mission soon. What would happen if they refused to listen to her, due to the lack of friendship?
So she had picked a spot to sit down and quickly released her two new companions. One was a snake-like dragon Pokemon - what they call Dratini. The little blue creature slithered around for a bit before settling herself near Kyra's shoes.
The other one was a fire and bug type named Larvesta. The little creature immediately began hopping up, attempting to get herself on Kyra's lap. With a soft laugh, the redhead picked her up and settled Adeen on her lap, stroking her gently.
"I should had eaten breakfast," Kyra muttered under her breath as her stomach started growling. She really should had, but, well, it simply didn't seem as important as bonding with her new friends. So she chose to ignore the sounds her stomach were making and continued to stroke Adeen, hoping that no one heard it.
A few minutes later, out of no where, Kyra heard someone say, "Would you like it? It's quite good." At the sound, the redhead immediately put Adeen back on the ground and started whirling her head around, attempting to find the person that spoke. She was definitely a bit startled.
Oh.
It was probably this lady that spoke to her, Kyra figured, after her eye caught the sight of a pretty looking girl with dark purple hair. She was holding out something to her, and after peering at it, it hit her. It was one of those famous fried Pidgey legs.
"Oh!" Kyra cried out loud after recognizing the delicious treat. She was about to accept right away before a thought hit her. Did....she hear her stomach growl? Why would a random stranger just offer her food?
Okay, well, she was really hungry. After a moment of thought, Kyra decided to go over and greet the seemingly generous woman. "Hello," the redhead said with a bright smile. "Thanks for the offer - that would be lovely! Fried pidgey legs are definitely one of the best snacks around here," Kyra said, still smiling. "If you really don't mind sharing, that is," the redhead adds hastily, a slightly awkward laugh escaping her. [ OOC ] Sybil Emrys[ WORDS ] 438MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS
