IN-DEPTH INFO
-----------------------------------
Aquaera is a bit of an enigma. It has both fur and scales, and resembles a penguin when it walks although it has no other characteristics. It would be not only difficult but dangerous to try to approximate normal species-wide behavioral patterns as being erratic is their most prominent common attribute. When happy they may be calm and serene or recklessly energetic. When angered, extreme violence is not uncommon, although some prefer more subtle, vengeful approaches. When sad, they all seem to exude a sense of gloom, and if greatly depressed, actual small rain clouds have been known to form to accommodate. Due to their varied, fickle behaviors and this power to affect the world, the species is very strongly associated with the sea.
-----------------------------------
EVOLUTIONARY LINE
-----------------------------------
Professor Quercus Oak owns a breeding pair of Aqueara's final evolution, but with the species only recently being made available as one of the few the lab always keeps in stock, he believes it will be much more fun to allow a few trainers to see for themselves what it turns into.
He will, however, tell you that the species was selected due to meeting the same sort of criteria that was sought in classic starter species on PokeEarth, meaning it does have three stages in total. It evolves slightly sooner than most (but not all), reaching its second stage at Level 3 and its final stage at Level 7, where 4 and 8 are the average.
