New Pokemon:
Name: Pokuji/Akujole
Designation: The Burnt Foal Pokemon
Type: Fire/Ghost or Ghost/Fire
Family?: Most likely related to Ishcolpa and Ponyta - possibly an earlier divergence.
Any name explanation?: Polos (Greek for foal) and Akuji (meaning dead and awake)
Description:
This slightly starved-looking young creature may inspire pity, being both partway between the sizes of a Deerling and a Ponyta and somewhat sad and pathetic looking at first glance. It possesses large, round eyes, a dull orange-red all over, which seem to gaze beseechingly at others. These eyes seem to glow from within and - peculiarly - may sometimes leak a thin black fluid. This black fluid is highly flammable, and is also found in the creature's saliva and sweat. The young Pokemon stands on spindly legs, and it is possible to see the shape of its ribs beneath its dull grey pelt. The mane and tail of this creature are extremely scraggly and are singed black - anything that they brush up against gains a residue of burnt hair. Touching it would reveal an unusually high temperature, though not enough to be damaging on its own. Some would postulate that these creatures were originally Ponyta who perished in the great cataclysm, and followed the living through the Legend Portal. Others would hypothesise that they are simply descended from mutant Ponyta. Whatever their origins, the creatures seem a little mentally unstable, and are prone to pyromania. They often do not understand why others will not play with them among the fires they create, and may become irrational and destructive if they cannot find playmates who can withstand fire. Even when not at play, these creatures seem drawn to the company of other Pokemon - and probably humans as well - and seem oblivious to or uncaring of the danger they may pose to the unwary. It is never wise to assume that a solitary example is truly alone, however, as these eerie equines are herd animals. They are most often seen at night, or during the hours around dawn and dusk - a combination of nocturnal and crepuscular behaviour. When they wish to rest or avoid the sun, these creatures seek out caves or other large holes in the ground, possibly for insulation. However, this Pokemon never actually sleeps. When agitated, these creatures can ignite the flammable black fluid that forms a part of their sweat, tears and saliva for a brief time in order to be completely aflame. However, this is a last resort technique, as it is extremely draining. Accidental ignition of things that it has dripped on is unfortunately common. Disconcertingly, it is unknown what this Pokemon eats.
New Pokemon:
Name: Akujequs/Equji
Designation: The Cremated Horse Pokemon
Type: Fire/Ghost or Ghost/Fire
Family?: See previous entry.
Any name explanation?: Equus and Akuji (meaning dead and awake)
Description:
This withered and corpselike creature, which stands at midway between the height of a Ponyta and a Rapidash, has lost its innocent appearance and appears obviously undead. It only retains the barest scraggles of its mane, and a short bony tail with only a few short tufts of hair remaining. It no longer possesses physical flesh - instead, its body, which includes the ears, is composed of translucent grey ghostly emanations surrounding its bones. These bones are highly visible, showing up as a much darker grey. The eyes are visible as small red glows like dying embers floating in the dark hollows of the eye sockets. Typically, the jaw will hang open, far wider than would be possible if it were still constrained by the limits of muscles. Although these Pokemon typically move at a slow, shambling pace, it would be unwise to assume that they cannot move quickly - after all, they are no longer constrained by the limits of muscles. From a Researcher's point of view, the translucency of this Pokemon is likely to be fascinating, as it could offer insight into what they eat, if they eat, and where inside the creature the flame comes from. If one were to watch as one prepared a Fire move, they would likely see the creature light up from inside. Like their previous form, this creature is able to set itself completely aflame. While it can maintain this state for longer than before, it is still very draining. Just as before evolution, these creatures can still produce a flammable thin black liquid, but they are able to do so completely voluntarily, and may deliberately spread it in order to light specific patterns of fire. They are mostly nocturnal, but can also be seen in the hours around dawn and dusk. What they do in the hours of daylight is unknown, though it is possible that it has something to do with their habit of seeking out caves. The behaviour of these creatures can be hard to discern or understand at first, but seeing one usually means that the rest of the herd is not far away. Over time, they may gravitate slowly towards other creatures in the vicinity, but will not actively pursue them unless they get too close for comfort, upset the ghostly equines, or run. Sudden movements seem to trigger an instinct to chase shared by canines, though reasons behind this are unknown. It is entirely possible that they are simply inquisitive, but that is rarely a safe assumption on Mi-aro. Pursuit begins slowly, at a fairly relaxed shamble, but may increase in speed depending on situation.

Not completely happy with the names of these guys - any suggestions are welcome.
