It was time for him to fully begin his journey into this strange world, now that he was actually old enough, and that he was ready to do what so many before him had done especially his parents. They gave their lives for Mi-aro, and he was going to do the same to honor what they had done. So here he was in his usual attire walking up to the doors of Professor Oaks laboratory. Opening the door as he walked inside to find the man who would present him with his pokemon that would help him further his goal of becoming the greatest Dragon Tamer in this new world. His spiky blonde hair ever prominent as he walked through the door's, and his sapphire blue eyes scanned the room for the fabled Professor Oak. He had heard many stories of the forgetful man, but he had never personally met him, because he didn't have a reason to.
It made no difference as he walked up into what appeared to be the receptionist area, there was a large desk, and someone whom he couldn't quiet make out behind it. Seeing some of the stool's that were there, he sat down on one of them, and he patiently began to wait, realizing that he might need to say something he quickly jumped off the stool, and he walked up to the receptionist who he could clearly see was a female, and he smiled politely to her.
"Hey I am suppose to meet the Professor to get my starter pokemon?" he asked a bit shyly hoping that she would hear him so that he could get his pokemon, and then be on his way to start completing missions, and building his own reputation as a powerful Dragon Tamer.
He wondered what kind of man the Professor was since his mom had once worked for him, though he didn't hear much other than he was bad with names, and often forgetful with certain duties. Apparently he was also a tad eccentric when it came to his studies, and experiments, though he wanted to know what this man was truly like for himself.

When Draco spoke up, the graduate assistant on duty smiled, and looked at him. "Are you asking me, or are you telling me?" she said with a slight laugh and a wink. "Yes, you are scheduled for an appointment. As a matter of fact, you are the next meeting Professor Oak has today. Why don't you head on in through the lab doors and go talk to him? He's probably doing something and just lost track of time and your appointment." she said, pointing down the hall. Drako would find the door heavy and when he finally got it open, a strange buzzing sound seemed to be ringing out loud in the lab. As he explored a bit more, he would eventually find Oak experimenting with a steel looking gear Pokemon, performing sound acoustic tests. It would take a few tries, but Drako would eventually get Oak's attention. "My apologies, sometimes I get caught up in my work. Welcome Dramako, it's nice to meet you. Please, please, let's get you a Pokemon. Now, I picked out five Pokemon specifically for you when I saw you on my schedule. Come, let's take a look," he said, ushering Drako over to the other side of the lab, the Klink floating behind them. "Okay, so quick run-down just in case you don't know the Pokemon. Oddish, poison and grass type. A potent poison Pokemon, it will come in handy for fighting and catching Pokemon with its status moves. The small larvae Pokemon is called Weedle. Though it doesn't look like much now, that little worm will evolve into a Beedrill, which are not the most pleasant of wood land Pokemon. Aggressive, their three stingers hurt a great deal," he said, moving along the counter to the next group. "Roggenrola. A rock type Pokemon, these little guys are very sturdy and take hits like champions. They eventually evolve into Gigalith, which are like living rock monuments. Klink, which you met already, is another sturdy Pokemon, and can become proficient with electricity over time," he said, pointing. "Finally, we come to Larvesta. A fire type Pokemon, these little guys can be stubborn, but they pack a punch. It takes a long time, but when it evolves, it becomes almost Legendary like in status and skill. Well, these are your options. Oh! You also have the option of picking one of the classic fire/grass/water Pokemon from original Poke Earth. The choice is yours. As a mercenary, you earn the right to take two starters, so choose carefully," he said, taking a few steps back so that Drako could pick his Pokemon. ----------------------------------- Mod OOC: Please pick your starters!

As he listened to her talk to him he realized that he wasn't quiet clear when he spoke to her, and he tried to fix his mistake, but she was already ushering him through a door which was kind of heavy, and it took him a couple of seconds to actually move the thing so that he could pass through it. The moment the door opened a strange buzzing sound filled his ear's, and it startled him causing him to jump a little, though that soon passed as he wandered around the lab, and he finally came across the man that he had been looking for. The Professor was experimenting with a pokemon that looked like a gear to a watch, or something, but the moment he came close enough the man that his mother had told him about was finally standing there looking at him, and it all finally made sense, then things she told him.
The first thing was he got his name wrong, and then when he showcased the pokemon Drako couldn't help, but be a little let down that among the five there were no dragon types, but he was already planning to pick up a Charmander anyway because even though it wasn't a true dragon, it had the potential to become one. Listening to the details that the professor gave about each pokemon he thought carefully about them, though he wasn't really interested in picking up the Larvesta it was incredibly powerful when trained correctly. The two that he was actually more curious about getting were either the Weedle, or the Oddish. Oddish because it's powerful status effect moves would allow him to capture, and tame pokemon easier, and Weedle because in it's final evolution it was truly a force to be reckoned with. Beedrill were notorious for being dangerous, and having an aerial advantage would help out as well.
It was going to be a tough choice, but as he looked them all over he knew which one that he was going to take, and he was excited that he was finally going to be able to go out, and help build up the world that they all lived in.
"I think I will take a Charmander, and a Weedle please!" he stated to the professor in front of him excited to be able to get his journey started, and finally go out into the world to make a name for himself, and for his family.

Oak blinked in surprise, almost as if someone had just punched him in the stomach. It had been a very long time since one of the new trainers wanted one of the classic Pokemon, and he had to remember where he kept their poke balls. Disappearing into a side room, the professor returned a short time later, blowing some dust off the poke ball. Oak handed Drako the Weedle's poke ball, and the ball containing the fire lizard.
"Excellent choices. Now, the matter of your starting items. Due to your mercenary status and your second Pokemon, you get a few less items to choose from," he said, handing Drako the extra poke balls.
Motioning the burly dragon tamer to be over to the table, Oak pointed to a small wrist watch computer with two chips under a glass case. "This is your X-gear. You get that for free and you need to choose your first chip, either a Dex chip or a photo chip. Choose whichever you like. After that, please use my shelves to select any three trainer items using the Global Market as your guideline. Take your time," he said, stepping back.
When Drako was done, Oak smiled. "That about does it. Do you have any questions for me? If not, you should head over to New Pallet. There are some swarm issues with some Spinarak, and we need all able trainers to head there. Good luck to you," he said, with a final wave.
-------------------------------------------- Mod note: Please choose the gender, nature, and ability of your Charmander and Weedle Please choose three trainer items under the value of 35

As he was handed the two pokeball's that contained the two pokemon that were now his he smiled triumphantly excited that he was now going to be able to get his journey underway. Clipping the two pokeball's to his belt that contained his Charmander, and his Weedle he took the extra pokeball's, and clipped them to the otherside that way he wouldn't get them mixed up, or confused with one another. That is when the Professor took him over to give him his X-gear, and gave him a choice between two specific chips that he would be able to use for his journey. Looking at the both of them he picked up the Dex chip because it would help him get a better grip on the kinds of Pokemon that were in this new world. So he placed the chip in his X-gear, and he listened for further instructions.
"So I only get three item's huh? That will be a piece of cake for me to figure out. I want two batches of Pokemon Food, and Giant Raw Corka. After all my Pokemon will need supplies." he said with a smile as he grabbed the supplies from the shelf, and put them into his pack. Before turning back to the professor, and hearing him talking about the swarm issues.
"Psh when I show up there will be no more swarm issues because like my Great Grandfather Lance of the Elite Four, I will be the strongest trainer in all of the land. It's in my blood to be the best." he stated with a smile before waving to the professor, and bolting out of the door heading towards the start of his new journey, and to carve his way through this new world. Soon his name would be at the top of the boards.
