For all of your frequently asked questions!
Simply enough, if you have a question you may reply here to have it answered. Questions posted in the CBOX and PMed will also be put here for the benefit of others. You may also give suggestions if you like.
Q: What are POIs?
A: POI stands for Point of Interest
Q:Is there a public school system for children?
A: There is no public school system in place. But the local kids do gather at the Laboratories and have a sort of "trainer school" that's taught by Trainers. This would probably cover the majority of general studies and be free, but it wouldn't have the consistency of an actual school because most of the kids have to help their parents with their jobs and therefore wouldn't have the time to get a true education unless they wanted to occupy a job in Research.
Q: What is the lowest common denominator sort of job?
A: The lowest paying job here, would probably be a Desk Attendant, Assistant, or Secretary. The good-paying ones are the life-risking jobs like defending, exploring, settling, and researching.
Q: Are there old world diseases such as colds, flu, or plague as well as new world diseases here?
A: Old World diseases do still exist, nothing new has cropped up yet.
Q: How likely is it that feral pokemon can transmit diseases to humans?
A: It's definitely possible if a human is completely mauled, but otherwise it's a rarity.
Q: Is there a Day Care system in place here?
A: The closest thing to an NPC Day Care would be the Laboratories. Of course, any character can make a legitimate one if they want to.
Q: Can we make berries into pokeblocks?
A: You may notice that many Pokemon evolve with Contest Conditions now, but that's all I'm going to say on that. Pokeblock/Poffin machines can be reinvented by characters.
Q: Do either of the settlements have public libraries?
A: Laboratories have public documents and research books, but that's about it.
Q: Can character's still get tattoos here?
A: Absolutely.
Q: For a second (plus) character, would it be allowed to buy an item with funds from a previous character to give to the latter character before the profile was accepted? This would be useful for things that the character supposedly had all along, but are useful on the site--like a fishing pole for someone from a fishing village, or a woodcutter's axe for someone who was the child of lumberjacks, or the like.
A: This is fine as long as it's not abused.
Q: Are there facilities for training water-bound-Pokémon in the settlements like a public pool?
A: Settlement descriptions will have all usable structures listed.
Q: Do Pokemon vocalize using their species name or more like their animal-counterparts?
A: Completely upto you!
Q: Does the X-Gear have a clock function?
A: The X-Gear comes with a clock and text messaging program installed.
Q: Are there any age limits on characters?
A: Let's say old enough to be cognizant of the world.
Q: What happens regarding level up moves that are only learned by the pre-evolution and not it's evolved form? Do those moves still get carried over when they evolve?
A: A Pokemon will only know the moves that it learns in its current stage. Unless of course they already learned them. For instance, a Ninetales may not learn Inferno unless the move was learned while it was a Vulpix.
Q: Upon evolution do they learn the moves the evolution would have learned before the level it evolved at, such as Garchomp's Fire fang or Togekiss' Aura Sphere?
A: Yes, but they are considered Tutor moves so they take up a Special Move slot.
